I know - it sounds crazy doesn’t it? Madonna . . . OUR Madonna..offending and upsetting Catholics, of all groups. That’s just so . . so. . so very 80’s of her.
LOS ANGELES - Less than 12 hours after Madonna crucified herself on a mirrored cross, the Catholic League expressed its discontent with the concert stunt.
The controversial diva wore a crown of thorns and sang while hanging from a cross during Sunday night’s opener of her “Confessions” world tour at The Forum in Inglewood.
“Knock off the Christ-bashing,” Catholic League president Bill Donohue said in a statement Monday. “It’s just pathetic.”

seems like she has 2 different audiences
1. the people who listen to her music
2. the people that listen to her music and go to her concerts
Group 1 doesn’t care about what happens at the concerts anymore than the rest of the world that fall outside of groups 1 & 2.
I guess Michael Jackson will have to carry the shock the world show all by his lonesome again this year. . .
