But then, when is she ever? No, seriously - any news reports of late that shows a happy Babs? It’s true!

Christopher Anderson has learned that with his recently published biography, “Barbra: The Way She Is.” Streisand has retaliated not with interviews or public statements, but by way of the Internet. On her Web site, she has issued a response she titles “Does the Truth Matter These Days?”

Says Babs:

I will not dignify any other untruths by responding any further.
Maybe it’s finally time for an AUTHORIZED biography.

And yet, she dignified it with her “Truth Alert” - one does wonder. It seems Babs is quite busy filling up her website with her writings varying from politics to gossip, tabloid ’slander’. If the biography is untrue - then the author of it should be charged with writing a piece of fiction and trying to pass it off as truth. . . hmm, maybe it IS time for an authorized biography… as if people really super duper care?

I guess it is newsworthy, after all - otherwise I wouldn’t be here writing this tripe. Ha!
